Archiving a Facebook Post

On Facebook, you can also choose to save posts in an archive. The archive option is very different from the option to delete. When you delete a post on Facebook, it goes to the trash folder, where it stays for 30 days. After 30 days, it’s gone from your account for good.

On the other hand, you can hide a post with the archive option. When you archive a Facebook post, it gets moved to your account’s Archive folder. You can bring back the post at any time.

If you aren’t sure if you should delete a post, it is best to archive it.
